If a player gets an Advancement, the XP Bar will display temporarily in place of the Locator Bar.
Steps to Reproduce:
Join a multiplayer world with the Locator Bar enabled
Grant yourself/Achieve an advancement
Observed Results:
Locator Bar disappears temporarily for all Advancements
Expected Results:
Locator Bar should remain no matter what the Advancement is, unless it specifically grants XP

I believe this is almost a duplicate of MC-298745 (“Almost” because this only mentions dimension-changing and recipe-unlocks)
The bug is with [other report content] and achieving Advancements.
I started testing it in a LAN world with my alt account and, as I shot myself with a bow, I got the “Take Aim” advancement which hid the Locator Bar. I shot myself again and the Locator Bar remained, I continued testing with other damage types and there seemed to be nothing unexpected. When I originally discovered the issue, there must have been a repeatable food/damage related advancement on the world interfering. The bug is real but the cause was misinterpreted.
