I am unable to launch any version of Minecraft Java. After trying multiple other fixes, I did a complete reinstallation of Windows 11, but that did not solve the problem. I’m posting a screenshot of the error message that I receive. If I try to launch again after receiving the error message, my computer completely freezes, and my keyboard does not work. I have to force shutdown using the power button.

Could you please provide more details. As we have no repro of this issue.
Could you please record a video of the issue and upload it?
Are you using any add-ons or resource packs? If so, could you provide a complete list of them?
Could you please include details about your device and system specifications (RAM, CPU, GPU)?
Have you tried reinstalling the launcher and the Minecraft game? (Remember to create backup files before doing so.)
Have you installed the latest graphics and audio drivers?
Have you installed the latest Java JDK software?
Have you updated Microsoft store apps, and windows updates to the newest versions?

Hi, I did the last 4 things. The problem is happening with no add-ons or resource packs. I have 16 GB of RAM. My CPU is 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H (2.70 GHz). My GPU is Nvdia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU.
I can make a recording tomorrow and send it. I don’t know if this is useful, but although I can’t launch any version of the vanilla launcher or badlion client without it freezing my computer, I CAN launch Lunar 1.8. I can’t launch newer versions of lunar though.
Here is a video of what happens. 1.8.9 gives me this error message. If I try to launch 1.21, my computer freezes up completely.
I got this error message the first time I tried to launch 1.21, but I couldn’t replicate it the second time when I was recording. Instead my computer just froze.
Have you tried deleting the .minecraft directory and trying again? The second bug often happens due to network issues as well. Maybe try deleting the .minecraft directory (will also delete all your mods/screenshots,etc) and try it on a different network.

Is there at least Java on ur pc. And if it’s so, did you click “Accept” on the JDK Platform (the app that needs Minecraft to run) ?
