the Killer Bunny does not immediately stop attacking when Player holds its favorite food

the Killer Bunny should not damage a player who is holding its favorite food (a carrot, a golden carrot, or a dandelion, which are also used to breed rabbits).

However, in practice, there is a significant delay in this behavior. When the player presents one of these items, the Killer Bunny does not stop its attack immediately. It will continue to damage the player for several more hits before finally ceasing its aggression.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Spawn a Killer Bunny:

    /summon rabbit ~ ~ ~ {RabbitType:99}
  2. Aggro it without holding its favorite food, allowing it to begin attacking you.

  3. While being attacked, switch to holding a carrot/golden carrot/dandelion.

  4. Observe that the Killer Bunny continues to damage you for several more attacks before stopping.

Expected Result:

Upon the player holding its favorite food,the Killer Bunny should instantly stop its current attack and not initiate new attacks against that player.

Observed Result:

There is a clear delay.The Killer Bunny often deals multiple instances of damage, before its AI updates to recognize the held food and cease hostility.
