Many cross textured blocks do not render properly when viewed from above

This is a more comprehensive report most similar to MC-306015

As per that report, almost all saplings, a few small flowers, and all flowers do not render properly when viewed directly from above, and instead have weird properties like appearing much bigger than they are.

Steps to replicate the bug:

1. Set FOV to 30 for best results

2. Run /tick freeze to ensure no saplings grow during observation

3. Fly above various blocks detailed below
