On servers, you can continue using items after pausing the game

Note:

This is an issue most similarly related to MC-306119. Unlike that issue, there is no specific timing required to perform this bug. Another difference is that when playing on a singleplayer internal server, pausing the game cancels your item use, but not when on a dedicated server.


Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Enter a world in singleplayer

  2. Open the world to LAN

  3. Attempt to use an item, and before an item is used, pause the game while continuing to use the item (example: eat a golden carrot)


Expected result:

The item stops being used after the game is paused (current behavior in singleplayer worlds)


Actual result:

The item continues to be used after the game is paused
