The Bug:
Baby axolotls that are outside of water t-pose when attacked.
For context, “t-pose” refers to the action of all limbs being spread out in a straight manner.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon a baby axolotl outside of water.
Attack it and watch its animations closely.
Observed Behavior:
Baby axolotls t-pose when attacked.
Expected Behavior:
Baby axolotls would not t-pose when attacked.

This issue doesn’t occur when the axolotl isn’t knocked into the air by the attack, e.g., due to being knockback-resistant. Conversely, it does occur when the axolotl is summoned in or teleported into the air, even when the axolotl wasn’t attacked.
This suggests that the report is incorrect in designating the attack as the trigger of this issue. I have updated the summary accordingly.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
