After 24 hours of no Multiplayer button which magically appears, now i lose the ability of sneak when im on other screens of the game such as inventory, chat or menu.
Solutions keep saying its the sneak : toggle/hold button in options>control issue. Please fix. I live(play) by sneak most of the time and this issue makes raids and hiding impossible

I don't understand.
Is it normal for the sneak to be lost when using other screens or is the loss of sneak normal when using other screens? The repeated sentence of “working as intended” is void when it's obviously not working as it has always worked before.
I have only been playing Minecraft for over 12 months and always had the ability to stay crouched when on another screens. I skipped playing the versions 1.21.5 to 1.21.10 because there was problem after problem and those versions caused horrendous lag and burned devices whether in any play mode (single/multi, on/offline).
I stuck to playing 1.21.4 until recently where I played version 1.21.8 for an SMP and I still had the ability to stay crouched. This means that having the ability to stay crouched was available for years, all throughout the 1.21 series, yes?
Which way is the 'bug'?
Either way, I go back to the version that had the ability to stay crouched when on other screens.
