GameTime value in animation shaders set to a constant 0

When updating any of the following shaders:

  • core/animate_sprite.vsh

  • core/animate_sprite_blit.fsh

  • core/animate_sprite_interpolate

an issue can be observed whereby the GameTime property, part of the Globals uniform, is set to a constant value of 0 and does not represent the actual value. I’ve attached an example shader that illustrates the issue.
