I have checked every other game, program, website, EVERYTHING- and they are all loud enough/too loud/etc.
Minecraft (Java) is the only game that is noticeably too quiet to the point where I actually have to complain about it, I have the game at 100% application volume so thats not it, its seriously like half of what it should be, if I could set minecraft to 200% volume i would be fine but its genuinely irritating and unfixable on my end.
Steps to reproduce: run the game and have any sound play at 100% in-game volume.
Expected result: normal volume.
Actual result: ~half volume give or take.
Environment
Windows 11

I will piggyback off of @Phoenix3000 and say, go to your Windows volume mixer.
First open your settings in Windows. Then go to “System”, then “Sound”, then under Advanced click on “Volume mixer”. Do this while Minecraft is running, and ensure you see it listed under the “Apps” section of the volume mixer.
Check Minecraft’s volume percentage and adjust as needed! I suspect that is the issue here.
Are you sure that you haven’t reduced Minecraft’s volume in the Windows Sound output menu? You can check that by pressing Control + Windows + V.
