many items such as Banners, Heads, Shulker Boxes, Beds, most copper items, etc. are not visible in hotbar/inventory. This includes the creative inventory.
this effects both 26.1 and 26.1.1.
When you are holding the item, you can see it in your hand, but not in the hotbar/inventory. You will see the name and details of the item if you mouseover. The affected items are visible when dropped, placed, or held.

I believe that this is NOT a duplicate and that you have made a mistake. These two bugs are about DIFFERENT layers of rendering, thus two different issues. MC-307235 is about ITEMS in the inventory/hotbar. eg.
MC-307179 is about THE PLAYER MODEL in the inventory. eg.
