The death report that the player was skewered by a falling sulfur spike was displayed as "skewered by a falling stalactite".It should be correctly displayed as “Player was skewered by a falling sulfur spike“.

Because i was just killed by a falling sulfur spike instead of stalactite. It’s an obvious bug. Hope it can be correctly displayed.

I don’t think it is a bug. According to Oxford’s dictionary, a stalactite means: “a long pointed piece of rock hanging down from the roof of a cave , formed over a long period of time as water containing lime runs off the roof”. So I think sulfur spikes belong to the family of “stalactite“.

This is not a bug. Sulfur spikes facing up are called stalagmites while sulfur spikes facing down are called stalactites. The term is not reserved exclusively for pointed dripstone.
