Low performance with the Vulkan rendering backend on AMD GPUs

I get less FPS using Vulkan compared to OpenGL with AMD.

Here are my specs)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
CPU: 12x AMD Ryzen 5 5600 6-Core Processor

For AMD OpenGL: OpenGL 3.3.0 Core Profile Context 26.3.1.260309
For AMD Vulkan Proprietary Driver: Vulkan 1.4.344 AMD proprietary driver 26.3.1

I included two images:
Left is Vulkan and Right is OpenGL. It’s all in f3, so you can find it there. You can see that I lose about 300 to 400 FPS when using Vulkan. Hopefully this helps with this snapshot.

Oops, left is OpenGL and right is Vulkan. When I submitted the images it swapped positions.

I also have a similar problem, i run a 5700x3d with a 9070 xt and my fps gets halfed when i use vulkan over amd, whether it be on an old windows install, new windows install, or linux.

Getting very low FPS on only 14 render distance.

OpenGL does not have the same FPS loss:

Maybe this is a lot worse on amd 9000 gpus? i asked a friend on a 9060 xt 16 gb and he seems to also have the same problem, fps is more then halved in any situation on vulkan compared to opengl

I also have the same problem with my rx 9060 xt 16gb, i have a ryzen 9 5900xt and 32gb ram 3600mhz cl18, and when I play with 32 chunks in openGL I have above 240fps/330fps stable, but with Vulkan I get 120fps/160fps with a lot of stuttering, with 16 chunks I got 470fps/600fps stable with openGL and with vulkan I got 220/390fps with the same stuttering, even reducing to 8 chunks I still get the same stuttering its almost like the fps doesn't really matter at this point, maybe that’s a problem with resizeble-bar or frametime issues with the game, i don’t know
