25w41a allows for most of the F3 key combos to be rebound to arbitrary keys. However, for some reason, the F3+Esc combo, which pauses the game without showing any buttons, was left out. This is inconsistent with all of the other commands which were made rebindable in this version.
Expected behaviour would be for this to have its own line somewhere in Key Binds, like other game controls do.

The reason for this is that pressing Esc cancels the rebinding of a key, so you can’t bind anything to Esc. The decision seems to have been made to keep all the hardcoded Esc key functionality, but the implications for F3+Esc may have been overlooked. A potential solution would be to make this rebindable and change the default binding to something like F3+P.
If Esc cancels the binding process, shouldn’t it revert to what the previous binding is, rather than simply unbinding the key outright?
