Sulfur Cube can ride Minecarts in Java Edition

In Java Edition, Sulfur Cubes can ride Minecarts.

But in the Bedrock Edition 26.30.28 changelog, it was stated that Sulfur Cubes can no longer ride Boats and Minecarts. The original text reads:

"Sulfur Cubes can no longer ride vehicles.

Developer's Note: This is a known parity break with Java, due to the way entities interact with Boats and Minecarts"

I believe the Bedrock Edition developer made a mistake, but when I submitted report MCPE-239178, it was dismissed as invalid by MCQA with the following reason:

"This behavior is consistent between Bedrock Edition and Java Edition, as Sulfur Cube does not enter Boats or Minecarts in either version."

However, in the actual behavior of Java Edition, Sulfur Cubes can indeed ride Minecarts normally. This makes me very confused. I cannot determine whether this is a bug in Java Edition or intended behavior. Therefore, I have created this bug report in hopes of clarifying whether, from the developers' perspective, Sulfur Cubes should be able to ride Minecarts or not.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open a world.

2. Spawn a medium Sulfur Cube.

3. Place a Minecart near it and observe.

Observed Results:
In Java Edition, Sulfur Cubes can ride Minecarts.
In Bedrock Edition, Sulfur Cubes cannot ride Minecarts.

Expected Results:
The expected behavior needs clarification. If the Bedrock developer note is correct, Sulfur Cubes should not ride any vehicles, including Minecarts. If the MCQA response is correct, this would mean Java Edition also should not allow it, which currently it does.
