Ever since I have updated to 26.1, the “Tiny Takeover,” I have experienced excessive lag. Some times the image does not move at all up 8 seconds. Even now with the game paused, so nothing should be processing, it is lagging my computer. Even when I am on the title screen of the game, the rotating image, lags. I have done everything that has been suggested, clearing cache, checking for corrupted files, Optimize World, Lower my setting, defrag the computer everything looks good but . And every time I do, it seems to only get worse. Some times it eats my inputs, and others time I can tap forward and walk for three seconds.
Understand, before the update, I never noticed any significant lag except, maybe flying into new chunks. Many things suggest too many mobs but I have been playing in an area where there are only the minimal amount, far away form my main base and any farms.
These are my computer stats

I tried to upload my world but there was an error probably because it took two hours to upload and said to refresh the page and the download was lost.
Here is a link to the world file.

It is also on new games it seems. This is one I just made, and right out of the gate, there is large spikes.
Does it freeze your entire PC and look like a PowerPoint presentation? I'm having that problem right now.
total freeze need a forced reboot no..
only the whole Windows GUI is lagging real bad.. could be an Nvidia driver bug…
a CTRL+SHIFT+Windows-Key+B will force a reboot of just the gfx drivers.. 😄
this is also happening across v26.3 snapshots too..
so most likely a driver issue from Nvidia or Java or both I figure.
