Since placing a mob out of a bucket sets the tag “from_bucket“ to 1b rather than “PersistenceRequired“, and that tag does not carry over when splitting a sulfur cube unlike “persistence required“, placing a sulfur cube from a bucket and splitting it will cause the small sulfur cubes to be able to despawn, despite their parent being immune to despawning.
Steps to reproduce
Place a sulfur cube from a bucket
Teleport out of despawn range and back, and observe if the sulfur cube is still there
Split the sulfur cube
Teleport out of despawn range again and back, and observe if the sulfur cubes are still there
Expected result: The small sulfur cubes would not have despawned, due to the original mob being immune to despawning as well
Actual result: The small sulfur cubes despawn due to not having any tag that prevents them from despawning (due to “from_bucket“ not carrying over, and “PersistenceRequired“ not being applied)
