Sunflowers 'leaking' into other biomes

Steps to reproduce

  • Find a sunflower plains biome bordering a different biome (hard to tell with fields, i used forest)

  • Look near the border for sunflowers
    (see attachment)

Probably intended.

The game generates flowers in clusters. As only the center/origin of the cluster needs to be in the correct biome, some flowers can generate in nearby biomes, like in this case. I agree, that this is probably intended and not a bug. I think it look nice and I don't see any harm here.

Absolutely. Why should the devs add extra code to check if all sunflowers are in the "correct" biome along biome borders? The current behavior is fine and also adds more variety to biome borders (too sharp borders are unrealistic).

Biomes are not hard edges, and I don't see why we should be strict about this.
