Steps to reproduce:
find or make two adjacent dirt path blocks
place a bed on the two dirt path blocks
mine the bed
Only 1 of the dirt path blocks turns to dirt. Normally (26.1 e.g.) both turn to dirt.
NB: if you sleep in the bed before mining it then both dirt path blocks turn to dirt
