My observation:

When rendering objects in world space (like entities and some block entities), uniform vec3 Light1_Direction is opposite to normal behavior, while blocks in GUI use normal Light1_Direction.

To echo what others are saying, this issue is still persisting and is still a problem. Will this be reopened?

No. The issue is fixed, but the fix is not yet released in a snapshot.
