Custom trims cannot be created for baby humanoid armor, even though they can be for other equipment

If you specify an armor trim texture for something that does not have one by default, such as wolf armor, that trim texture will be displayed as expected. This works for every single equipment type with the exception of baby humanoids, where defining a texture will not result in any texture change at all. This is obviously inconsistent.

To reproduce, download and apply the attached resource pack, then do the following:

  • /give @p minecraft:wolf_armor[minecraft:trim={material:"minecraft:resin",pattern:"minecraft:eye"}] then tame a wolf and equip this item on it

  • /summon husk ~ ~ ~ {IsBaby:1b,CanPickUpLoot:1b} then /give @p minecraft:iron_chestplate[minecraft:trim={material:"minecraft:resin",pattern:"minecraft:eye"}] then drop this item on it

Expected results: the wolf and husk would turn green when the item is equipped

Actual results: the wolf correctly turns green, but the husk just looks like it has a normal chestplate on
