The bug:
Cushions last too long as furnace fuel compared to Bedrock. MCPE-240651 got Works As Intended, so a Java ticket was made. Minecraft’s Quality Assurance team directed me to create this bug report. It’s a gameplay issue.
Steps to Repro:
Get a furnace
Get a stack of 16 cushions
Place the stack of cushions as furnace fuel
Place a wooden log as the ingredient
Observed Result:
1 cushion was consumed trying to smelt the log into charcoal, so cushions smelt 1 items each.
Expected Result:
4 cushion are consumed trying to smelt the log into charcoal, so cushions smelt 0.25 item each like Bedrock.
