Opaque particles turn translucent when seen through experience orbs with the "Improved Transparency" option enabled

Reproduction Steps:
- Enable improved translucency
- Spam RMB to throw bottles o' enchanting as fast as possible

Observed Results:
- The blue splash particles are sometimes translucent instead of opaque

Expected Results:
- The particles would stay opaque
