Cannot reproduce after trying for 30 mins. I have an Intel UHD Graphics 605 GPU which has the same GPU architecture as your Intel UHD Graphics 630. You should try updating your drivers to the latest version (31.0.101.2141)
Even if updating your drivers fixes the problem, this is still something mojang should definitely look into since there are certain Intel iGPUs that can’t update past driver 31.0.101.2115 like the i5-6400 (Intel HD Graphics 530) which is listed as their new minimum requirement
I think this report might be a duplicate of MC-308593 but not sure though
Welp, I was able to reproduce after flying in circles for like an hour. One thing I did notice was how super fast chunks load in this version with almost no lag. I’m guessing there is a leak of some sort with chunk loading.
It seems to trigger at a certain height (Y = 135+). I wasn’t getting the bug before cause I wasn’t higher up. Instantly got it again after making a new world. Vulkan seems to not be affected by this.
Update: I have upgraded my hardware to a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro K620 GPU. I am completely unable to reproduce the water flickering on this new setup. The issue appears to be isolated specifically to the integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics pipeline or its drivers.
