Powder snow is no longer destroyed by flaming projectiles

Powder Snow no longer breaks when hit by a flaming projectile. The projectile's fire is still extinguished by the powder snow, but the block itself remains intact.

Previously, when a flaming arrow (or other flaming projectile) struck a block of Powder Snow, the block would be destroyed while the projectile's fire was extinguished.

Notably, a flaming entity walking into Powder Snow still destroys it as expected.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Place a block of Powder Snow.

  2. Obtain a bow enchanted with Flame.

  3. Shoot an arrow at the Powder Snow.

  4. Observe whether the Powder Snow is destroyed.

I was unable to reproduce this issue in the current snapshot. What is your mob griefing gamerule set to?

I apologize for the false report. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction — I checked my world's settings and confirmed that mobGriefing was indeed set to false.

Since this is the same behavior reported in MC-259710, please close this report as a duplicate.
