When a Skeleton is summoned with its TicksFrozen value already set to 140 or higher, it slows down as expected but does not visually shiver. Other freezing-immune mobs, such as Strays, Polar Bears, and Snow Golems, shiver correctly under the same conditions.
The issue can be reproduced entirely with a single /summon command, which sets the value at creation time:
/summon minecraft:skeleton ~ ~ ~ {TicksFrozen:10000}For comparison, the same command with a Stray produces the expected shivering behavior:
/summon minecraft:stray ~ ~ ~ {TicksFrozen:10000}Linked issues

Issues resulting from modifying an entityβs data during its lifetime will not be fixed, with exceptions for only a handful of high-impact cases, a standard that this issue does not meet. Can you rewrite this report to emphasize undesired behavior when summoning an entity with certain data, while still making mention of /data if it eases understanding of the scope of the issue?
This report will automatically reopen when you reply.
Thank you for your report!
After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
