hmm that's odd, confirmed

Confirmed for 1.7.4 and 14w02c.

Seems to be related to MC-11659, as their String ID was removed and they're also no longer saved and cannot be created with spawners.

Still present in 14w25b.

If you need to test for eggs you can just use @e[name=unknown]. Do not think summing is possible though.

Confirmed for 14w28a.

Testing for unknown (the only non-capitalized entity name btw) will also find fishing bobbers and a few other entities missing from the summon list. I wonder if it finds lightning too?

This was fixed in 1.8.2-pre7 along with MC-47832.
