[MC-32139] Minecraft login servers are having problems

Minecraft servers are currently experiencing issues, please refer to https://help.mojang.com/ for status updates.

When I try to join a minecraft 1.6.2/1.6.4 server, It gives this code:
Connection Lost
Failed to logion: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response connection code: 503 for URL:

...and Mojang is already on it to fix it. I think the problem is that, as soon as the sevrers are back up, they're getting "DDos'ed", because too many people want to log on at the same time, and they're crashing again.

Dang. It looks like lots of people are having this bug. The shotbow network is down to about 700 people out of about usually 5000 and the hypixel server is down to 1,300 out of about 7000 people...

This is no bug, just to clarify 🙂
It'll be fixed as soon as the high time for the servers is over and they can "relax" again, that would be the worst possibility to happen though. Someone is curreently heading to the Mojang office to check if they can fix it. As I said, the problem is that too many people are trying to log on at the moment the servers are back up. That's causing the craches.
If you have Minecraft opened, don't close it if you still want to play, or you'll maybe have a hard time to get back into the game 🙂
