Confirmed for 13w39b.

Got exactly the same error showing in the latest.log file.

(This error does not affect the game in any way)

Actually it does:
When Minecraft is minimized for a long time e.g. while farming, the time in minecraft stands still. Upon maximizing, minecraft is fast forwarding the time. this is observed by several day/night cycles within a minute and in addition, everything written in chat after maximizing does not appear. after it catches up, the game seems to run smoothly again and also messages priorly written in chat appear.

during this 'catching up' of minecraft, the client responds promptly on inputs like pressing esc or showing debug screen.

Yes. Confirmed on:

  • Windows 7 x64

  • System Architecture: ARM 64-bit (I know I already mentioned this)

  • Java 1.7.0_45

  • Java vendor: Oracle Corporation

  • Java Architecture: 64-bit

EDIT: And I suppose that the message appears every tick?

EDIT 2: And I forgot the most important thing: Minecraft Version: 1.7.4
Apologies, people with email notifications. I feel bad now. 😞

Also affects:
1.7.9 Vanilla, Windows 8, x64, Oracle Java 1.7.0_60 64 bit.
1.7.4/1.7.9 Vanilla, Windows 7, x86, Oracle Java 1.7.0_60 32 bit.

Initial research points toward incompatibility with Intel graphics chipsets.

I can confirm this continues for the launcher 1.5.3 (not sure about lased release).

I also hold a copy from the launcher where this message was spammed as I was trying to join a server.

P.S. Sorry about duplicate comments, I have now deleted them. I was having internet connection problems.

Confirmed for 1.8.7/Launcher 1.6.11

Confirmed for 15w44b
Occured once when I was killing ArmorStands using /execute in repeating command blocks. Can't reproduce.
Edit: I always play in minimized.

Can reproduce in 16w33a, but it logs 1280: Invalid enum instead.

Please check if the latest development snapshot 17w43b fixes your issue.
