I was playing around with the new stained glass, and created a superflat world consisting of 30 layers of light green stained glass. However, I noticed that when looking at things I built from certain areas, things show through in a way they're not supposed to. I have attached a screen shot of the glitch as it appears, as well as a map where it happens.

Turns out a different bug was fixed in 1.7.2 that was causing similar visual issue. The issue pictured in this particular filing is actually an entirely different bug having to do with transparency issues that occur at the origin or on multiples of 1024 on X/Z, which I've since fixed for the next version.
Confirmed. Interesting that this appears right at -1024.
