Boats that are dispensed into moving water don't follow the current.

No, very different. This bug is about BOATS NOT MOVING AFTER BEING DISPENSED while the other is about the placement being wrong.
Yes it's not moving, because it's stuck on the dispenser.
No, this happens when the boat falls in the water.
OK, after proper testing I got it. Even after breaking the dispenser the boat is still not moving.
Sometimes they ignore currents anyways, but this is the only way of reproducing it every time.
they seem to ignore current when empty, but follow it when a person is in the boat. This suggests that while currents push most entities, boats are somehow "immune" to them. when you're in the boat, the current pushes YOU and YOU push the boat!
This is what I have observed too.
Yes, getting in the boat does make it move.
But it should move anyways, it was put into moving water.
This was rather annoying, I made a dock system based off currents keeping boats in the stalls, but it was useless because it didn't bloody work - the boats were free to drift up current
It should also be noted that dispensed boats do have a tendency to ignore current, as stated above, allowing them to be pushed upstream like it was flat water.
