Invisible World

So when I was playing Minecraft the other night on my Survival world, I had placed down a torch at my feet, when I did so, the whole world piratically when invisible. By this I mean all blocks are clear, other than Lava, Chests, the enchanting table book, torch "fire, the nether portal's portal glow. Also most of the items in my inventory are also empty pictures, other than the stack size. Also want to mention the lava itself is flashing. (It stops flashing if you press F1 to hide the UI)

It's fixed if I go to an older version than what is listed. But all the other versions are broke with this bug.
