Since 1.7.2 it rains every 15 minutes, or rather 10 minutes.
It's singleplayer as well as multiplayer

I can't find any other bug like this, so I don't think it's a duplicate.
I've noticed this, too. It's been raining a LOT more often in 1.7.2. I think the entire weather cycle has been sped up. I did /weather clear 1000000 in one of my worlds, which is supposed to keep it from raining for a million seconds, or about 12 (real-life) days of gameplay. The next (real-life) day I played that world, it rained again! That was definitely NOT 12 days of gameplay.
Same here. There's more rain than sun. It rains too frequently & it goes on too long.
/weather clear 1000000 only keeps it sunny for a few minutes.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/finding-minecraft-data-folder]
) here.
/toggledownfall
does not reset any timer. It switches to rain when it's clear and vice versa.
To stop the rain and reset the timers either sleep in a bed or use /weather clear
I used /weather clear
and it is still raining very often:

think this might be a duplicate of another bug. But I agree. Rain does seem way to frequent now.
