[MC-38922] Typing in creative inventory not working very well

I was trying to search for stained glass in the creative inventory search. I would type in 'stained glass' but it would show up like 'stain' and then erase and there would be an 'ed' where the word 'stained' should be. The word 'glass' wouldn't show up at all. I can't really show you in a screenshot because it requires active moving, sorry about that. I've tried it in multiple worlds and it's highly annoying when I need to look for something.

Cannot reproduce in the game.
But since I have experienced this outside of Minecraft, I can tell you that it's probably your keyboard.

It only happens in the inventory though, not when I type in the chat or outside minecraft.

Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w02c? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
