Trying to make Granite, Diorite or Andesite slabs (which do not exist) create Stone slabs

I think it should just leave blank spot, shouldn't it?

Compareable with the old "Getting normal wooden stairs from all wood colors".

At least wood was similar, okay then.

Not comparable - Those three new stone variants don't have to be smelted first, so you can get free slabs without a) smelting b) silk touch, which is not what happens with stone.

But isn't this still a bug? They may be stone variants but they shouldn't make the slabs.
