@a doesn't work with all commands

Commands like

/clear @a

and

/tellraw @a

don't work (it won't target the players and returns player not found), however some like

/effect @a

will work

Can confirm.

Happening here as well. Some commands work if you do @a[c=1].

I wish /me @a would NOT work. That's how spammers crash multiplayer clients that have their chat on. :C

How is this fixed? It still happens in 14w02c! (For example, try to do /playsound portal.travel @a .)

The version this bug is reported for is 14w02c. Presumably it's fixed in the next version.

@Jard Lardo No, this bug should be fixed 14w02c (You probably got Affects Version and Fix Version mixed up) and was reported for the a and b versions of 14w02. But it isn't fixed in 14w02c.

Manuel: Your own example of playsound works fine on 14w02c, both on a multiplayer server and on singleplayer.

@GrygrFlzr Noticed that my problem was caused by another bug, so never mind.
