[MC-45215] Pigmen not dropping gold

When exploring the nether, I was pushing Pigmen over a huge drop, when they landed only rotten flesh was produced. If we don't hit them they don't drop gold any more

From the Wiki:

Zombie Pigmen
-Now only drops gold nuggets and rare drops when killed by the player, either through combat or potions, or player-activated mechanisms such as manually lit TNT
-If killed without player intervention, only drops rotten flesh

It seems like an official change.

Why tho? It's not like everyone makes those super massive farms like the top youtubers do. Why punish the normal players?

Played minecraft for only a moth and got a nice little gold farm - drop them from a 23x23 portal..... in survival, build by hand, no cheats. Building it was a whole week horror.
Recently I was gonna buy a second minecraft license for my buddy but now I'm disappointed. Mojang.. what did you do? Why are you telling us how to play the game?

...I think that a player who spend a couple of hundred hours in the game deserves an opportunity to create any farm he wants...

What's next? Water sources? Maybe you can add watering cans and we will water our crops by hand...
