Creative search searches also new tooltip string ID (if enabled by F3-H)

If the string ID tooltips are enabled by F3-H the search in creative inventory also finds the matching strings of the tooltips.

Example: Searching in German for "acaia" finds the "Akazientreppe", because the ID is "minecraft:acacia_stairs"

Also the prefix minecraft: is searched, so that the letters

m, i, n, e, c, r, a, f, t

are finding every item in the inventory.

Search will find all items even if F3+H is not enabled (snapshot 14w30b). This is a very confusing behavior for the majority of users as there is no hint why all the blocks are in the search result. Please consider searching the minecraft prefix an explicit option. At least rank results with the search input in name higher than those where it is found in prefix or description. Searching for parts of the name is the 90% Use case.

It says the issue has been resolved, but it's happening in the pre-release! if you search with any of the following characters:
M,I,N,E,C,R,A,F,T,:
it will show EVERYTHING!!!

This bug has been marked as intended by Dinnerbone, so it will not be fixed.

A lot of you are saying, "Oh, it's intended so it won't be fixed!"
Well, let me ask you this. What's the point of searching the creative inventory for something you SPECIFICALLY need, when you get EVERYTHING? You would just have to waste 5 minutes searching through that list to find that ONE thing you need!
That doesn't sound so "intended" to me.

While Mojang appreciates user input on their game, it is theirs to develop, and if they view something as a feature, it is not the users' role to tell them that it isn't.

This is particularly useful if you have an alternate language selected. You can always search for the internal name, regardless of the display name. The ability to search by prefix ( minecraft: ) doesn't seem useful now, but it will once the plugin API is available, and plugins have their own prefixes. You also don't have to start searching from the beginning of the name to find something - it will match from any point, so searching for "cart" will give you minecarts.

Well, to be honest, I think that this should be an optional function. Like, maybe there would be some sort of option in the [ESC] menu? I know that some people would like to search by the tooltip string ID, but I think people should have the choice to enable/disable the function; you know, for the ease of access to find non-modded items.
