Initially, while testing the new villager farming AI, the farming villagers both planted and harvested crops as they should. However, after a little bit of time had passed, the villagers stopped harvesting fully grown wheat, although they will still plant wheat if you give them seeds.
However, a different, smaller farm (with a single villager) is still fully functioning even though it has been functioning for a longer period of time.
I will attach screenshots of both the larger farm with multiple villagers in it, and the smaller farm with only a single villager in it.
Edit: After a bit of testing, is seems that this issue is caused by the villager's inventories filling with wheat. This is still an issue, and not working as intended because villagers never seem to drop or dispose of the wheat they carry, so they will never farm again.

Upon further testing, I have found that villagers now have 8 stacks worth of inventory space. When a villager's inventory is completely filled with wheat, they will not harvest any crops. This seems to be the cause of the issue, I hope this helped 🙂
I don't believe that this is working as intended, as once the villagers stop farming they will never start farming again, and there's no way to make them farm.
I can confirm this. To be precise, if at one point the villager inventory get filled, he will not harvest anymore. You can force him to empty his inventory by harvesting the crop yourself, he will replant. But it's a tidous process (8 stacks _). In addition, the farmer should still be able to toss the food to another villager, but he also stop doing that when he's full.
This problem is actually something I solved with my villagers a day or to ago what you need is to take a villager with nothing in there inventory and give it 8 stacks of weet seeds to fill its inventory be careful though I have found that if they have any wheat or he stops planting hope I helped🙂

This issue was categorized as a duplicate of another issue where pre-snapshot villagers do not harvest crops. This is incorrect as the villagers I used were spawned in after updating to the new snapshot.
