[MC-46262] Huge fps drop/Screen freeze in nether.

Basically I can't play properly when going into the nether :S The game is freezing from time to time , cpu goes crazy from 60% to 100% from time to time. I'm playing on hard difficulty and it's really impossible to farm pigmens and ghasts not talking about fortresses ( this with full prot 4 set ). My PC is having more than the recommended requirements for MC.

Thank you for cooperating. I hope more mods will be that nice in the future 🙂 If software and hardware info is needed to provide with let me know. I really want this to be fixed in the near future I barely can go into the nether nowdays. Problem is I had this since 1.5 but now it's worse than ever. I've seen some topics about it and it seems it's regarding the lightning rendering with so many lava blocks involved and flowing lava. But odd thing is I turned my smooth lightning off and chunk render distance to 2 and still gets choppy ( not as with 8 distance ) but still.

Seems like I needed to search for mods and such things to fix it , from 0-20 fps to 70-194. It's just a shame someone has to make mods to fix something that someone else should have done it. What can I say lack of commitment.
