[MC-46455] If you switch gamemode while inside a block or mob, you glitch inside it

Hey,

i've you switch from Spectator gamemode to a other you bugg in to the ground.
i've you do it a couple times you are with your whole body in the ground.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.

It isn't very clear what the exact bug is, but I have tested gamemode switching in 1.8.1 and haven't noticed any problems. Also, MC-46564 and MC-46595 should be separate from this issue, as they relate to mobs and this one is about blocks.
