2x2 Tree sapling don't grow in Survival

Do you mean a 2x2 tree? I've never seen a 4x4 before.

4x4? Doesn't exist. 2x2? Which tree type?

My bad, I update it to 2x2. Currently 2x2 Spruce, Jungle and Dark Oak tree aren't growing, altough in creative they do.

Grew them in Survival with bone meal, no problem.

Well I think I figured it out, in my survival world even in creative big trees doesn't grow neither naturally or by bonemeal, but in another world created in creative mode it does. It seems it's only on my susrvival world, I tried with all different saplings but it just doesn't work. Just letting you know I am in Ice Plains biome, I don't know if it has something to do with but anyway.

Ok, sorry for bothering you, I finally understand what happended, I don't know if it's still a bug, but 2x2 trees can't grow with snow layers around the saplings. It was just that, thank you anyway for your consideration.
