Hi, I have a problem with the fireworks in the version 1.4.6, I can NOT crafting fireworks star. I can not even color the star. I hope someone can help me ....

What items did you use? Try out one color + gunpowder. You can't acutally color the fireworkstar from the creative inventory - you need to craft your own!

Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w08a? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Yes, still an issue in 1.7.4 and 1.8 snapshots

Confirmed for 1.8.2-pre1. The firework star in the creative inventory doesn't really do anything since you can't use it to craft fireworks.
