This is declared resolved for MC-50163, but it still remains not fixed. It does not only happen riding things or changing perspectives as [Mod] Tails stated. Therefore is not a duplicate of MC-2963. I have had this happening consistently with all versions from 1.7 snapshots till now. Lower left corner of the map is blocked by the left hand showing on top instead of below the map.
