Mac version.
Firing a bow in boat causes you to hit yourself.
There is a splashing sound as if the arrow was in water from start and then you damage yourself (about 50% chance to get 1/2 - 1 heart of damage with fully drawn bow, no armour).

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.

And if you shoot an arrow when you're riding a Minecart, it will destroy it.
