[MC-50994] Minecart turning animation is buggy

When the minecart turn without player inside, the animation exit the rails

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w19a / Launcher version 1.3.11 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Can confirm for MC 1.12.1, the turn animation seems a bit glitchy.
This also happens with an entity inside of the Minecart.
