My Mineshaft Room SHRUNK!

I was moving some things inside my abandoned mine shaft dirt room i found when the game froze. I got back on and I was suffocating. I found my way back to the room to find it had shrunk and all my things were gone! I worked for DAYS to get those melons and pumpkins and cocoa beans! I had a diamond sword with Sharpness 3 or so. Please fix this so it never happens again. The game froze the moment I broke my jukebox to move it.
