[MC-5292] F5 not working properly (More in-depth than others)

I'm not seeing the template here, so I will wing what I put in here.

People are talking about minecarts and switching from third person to first person, blah blah blah.

What I expected:
When suffocating, it would remain in Thrid Person when I stopped

What happened:
It switched from third person to first person.

I can also confirm when entering this same deathtrap and switching the lever in third-person you will exit in first-person. This is regardless of whether you are in creative or survival mode.

Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w08a? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
