Summoning monster with a velocity in axis Y causes it to fall through a layer of blocks

Just a client sided visual glitch - fixed when re-join

What I expected to happen was...:
Monster launched into air and fall on block it's supposed to.

What actually happened was...:
Monster launched into air with any velocity amount on axis Y gets launched into air then when landing it falls through blocks

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use command /summon Pig ~ ~ ~ {Motion:[0.0,0.5,0.0]} change pig to any mob, change 0.5 to any number, if you want

Flying monsters are affected when flying close to ground

Your Java version is out of date! Please update your Java to the latest version (1.7.0_65): http://www.java.com/en/download/.

  • When using a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit operating system the automatic version detection will only show the 32-bit version of Java, the 64-bit version needs to be downloaded manually: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp.
Please report if the issue persists with the latest Java version as well as the current Minecraft snapshot 14w31a or later.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
