When I try to stream on Twitch using the built-in functionality, after around 5 seconds the game crashes and presents me with the error attached.

Blah, don't be so hasty. If it's crashing due to the streaming function built in MC, it's a completely legit report. Mojang created that function so it's not fair to call it invalid. zombachu hasn't explained if there was an error message. It may or may not be a duplicate of 40594 - unless the crash report states that - which I can't make sense of.
Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements for the integrated twitch streaming feature.
@CubeTheThird thanks. I found this which states that it's for 10.7 and up.
Ok, but I'm basing this off of what Mojang states. Regardless, your crash occurs in the Java Virtual Machine, and is thus an issue with java, and not Minecraft. If you wish, you may try to get some assistance with this through tech support, but we cannot guarantee successful results. For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.
