I am currently in the process of building an adventure map on minecraft snapshot 14w21b, therefore I have a lot of redstone running along with a fill clock which is extremely fast. My issue is every now and then ill notice the game starts to stutter (even though I still have 60fps), because of this I'll close my game however it continues running in the background using around 72% of my CPU and the game stopped saving around 5 minutes before the crash.
I have no idea what is causing this crash however it does seem quite serious hence why I am reporting it. This crash happens at random times and I have no idea what is causing it. I has thoughts that it could be caused by the fill clock however I have used this before and I have never had this issue.
Sorry I couldn't have provided more help,
Mikeey

This is my problem, the game isn't technically crashing. Well, for starters it doesn't produce a crash-report and what happens is the game just starts to stutter even though im still at 60fps. Every time this happens, I close the game only to find that it is still running in the background using 70-80% of my CPU and when I relaunch to go onto the save I was previously on, the game hasn't saved my progress from around 5 minutes prior to when the stuttering started.
The same as MC-42373?
I'm not 100% sure its the redstone, I would test it on another world but i'm very busy making this map right now :/
Then switch before starting Minecraft to the development console and attach a screenshot of the last output of the dev console.
Sorry to say this, but this bug report is incomplete without a crash report. Can you please attach it so the issue can be diagnosed?
